Shannon - Class of '08

Shannon is the little sister of one of my previous wedding clients, Meghan, who married Steve back in 2006. I'm not currently promoting high school senior photography -- but I can't pass up the opportunity to photograph little sisters of previous brides! Shannon attends St. Francis Borgia high school in Washington, MO -- we had a lot of fun taking her pictures in different locations in or near downtown Washington. Here are some favorites...

A girl and her horse...

Sara, a former client, invited me out to take some pictures of her horse, Algernon (I'm not sure I spelled that right...but she called him "Al" for short) on a beautiful but chilley Sunday morning in October. We hiked quite a bit down to the pasture where the horses were grazing and returned to the stables where she exercised, groomed, bridled and saddled him for a Sunday morning trail ride. I had so much fun shooting in the country...I didn't even mind getting muddy (no...I'm not that much of a city boy!). Here are some favorites from the equestrian session...

Meghan and Jake's Wedding

Meghan and Jake were married on a beautiful day -- October 27 -- at the Church of the Annunziatta in Ladue. Their reception was held at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown St. Louis. The couple currently reside in San Francisco but are both originally from the St. Louis area. Maria had a lot of fun shooting this wedding with me -- it was her first wedding with her new camera! :)

Here are some pictures from Meghan and Jake's wedding...

Julie and John's Wedding

Julie and John were married on Friday, October 12th at St. Ambrose Catholic church. It was another "A-B" wedding -- John works for Anheuser-Busch and Julie used to -- so there was no shortage of cold barley sodas! :)

Here are some images from Julie and John's wedding...

Julie looked absolutely stunning -- she made her mom and her betrothed cry as she entered the church.

All of the kids at the wedding kept us busy capturing lots of fun party pics. :)

Joining me in shooting Julie and John's wedding was my friend and fellow co-worker / photographer Dan Schimpf. We always have a great time shooting weddings together!
